Credit Cards

During checkout you will be given the option to submit credit card details, or phone them in to us if you're not comfortable with internet security.

We carefully compare credit card information with that recorded by the financial institution, and only ship to the validated billing address. Many institutions allow for an alternate address, or a one-time special authorization on your account in which you will have to provide the name of our company.

Please ensure your billing address matches exactly as it appears on your monthly statement for faster processing.

These measures are put in place for our mutual security. We hope this will not inconvenience you.

Interac^® & Email Money Transfer

Interac^® is accepted for in-store pickup only.

Email Money Transfers can be used for any order. After completing your order with us, log into your bank and initiate the transfer. Send the transfer to sales@focusscientific.com then call us toll-free at 1-877-815-1350 or 613-723-1350 (local) to give us the security answer. Security answers are case and space sensitive, so be sure to give us the exact answer.

Gift Certificates

In order to redeem a gift certificate, mail it to us. In cases where the gift certificate is valued at less than the purchase amount, during check-out select the payment method for the balance, and in the comment text area, type "Gift Certificate", and the serial number printed on the certificate.

Mailorder

• Canadian Residents
• Ontario, New Brunswick, NewFoundland/Labrador residents pay 13% HST^*
• Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Prince Edward Island, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon Territory residents pay 5% GST
• British Columbia residents pay 12% HST^*

In-store Pickup

• All pickup orders pay 13% HST^*
• First Nations status card holders are exempt from the provincial portion of the HST
• Between July 1 2010 and August 31 2010 - mail-in refund for the provincial portion of the HST (8%) through the Ministry of Revenue; please retain your receipt(s)
• Starting September 1 2010 - point-of-sale exemption from provincial portion of the HST (8% rebate) - valid status ID required
