This Zeiss Phase Contrast Microscope is excellent for anyone wanting to observe specimens that are otherwise difficult to view under bright-field conditions. It is superior to dark-field, and essential for looking at live blood, asbestos fibers, and other difficult-to-observe subjects.
The optics are in good condition, and the lighting is in good working order. Some of the mechanical components (focuser, condenser, etc.) need to be cleaned and lubricated.
