"Delos" was chosen to give recognition to Paul Dellechiaie, principal designer of both Delos and Ethos eyepieces. Delos is a beautiful Greek island which happens to be the mythical birthplace of Apollo, god of light.

The Tele Vue Delos series eyepieces offer a luxurious 72° apparent field of view, and the same demanding performance found in Tele Vue's Ethos eyepiece design; sharp, high contrast views from edge to edge, with virtually zero distortion or abberation.

One of the goals when producing top-of-the-line eyepieces is providing plenty of eye relief for those that wear eyeglasses, and to help prevent eyelashes from touching the glass. Long eye relief is also helpful to provide breathing space, so the eyepiece won't fog up as easily in the cold. The new, continuously adjustable height eyeguard can be locked into any position. The eyeguard can also rotate to simplify the use with Dioptrx astigmatism correcting lenses.
