Like all binoculars sold through Focus Scientific, they are carefully inspected for quality, and checked for optical alignment (collimation).

The higher the magnification, the more important good collimation is, and even more-so when used to observe the night sky. Most stars aren't double, so if you see lots of doubles, that's trouble.

The majority of stores selling binoculars don't check for collimation, but we do, and we can correct it too.
