Note on power supply: If you are powering from the AC mains, we recommend Losmandy's 15 volt power supply. This will ensure reliably sufficient current that a 12 volt supply may not quite provide.

The upgrade from the G-11 to the new G11GT accommodates a heavier payload of 34kg (75 pounds.) The mount features a detachable declination axis and more streamlined motor mountings.
