Straight-through finderscopes can be a pain in the neck when looking at high inclinations, especially 45° and above. They are virtually impossible to use when pointing at the Zenith.
Upgrade your telescope (and save your neck) with an Orion 9x50 right-angle correct-image finderscope.
The objective lens assembly rotates to focus. The knurled ring behind the objective assembly locks the focus in place. Two thumbscrews and a spring-loaded plunger on the finderscope holder make aiming a breeze; you can even align with one hand tied behind your back.
This finder produces a N-S E-W correct image, to match star charts and what you would see looking at the night sky naked-eye.
The Orion 9x50 right-angle correct-image fits Orion/Sky-Watcher/Vixen standard finderscope adapter brackets. If your scope doesn't have a suitable adapter bracket, or you would like to add a second finderscope to your telescope, finderscope adapter brackets may be purchased separately.
